The hackers way of thinking

The question that has very few answers, difficult to be answered and constantly searched for. Facebook! A social networking site, busy with 1,310,000,000 users, almost everyone around you is on Facebook. Facebook has the top level security to maintain all this accounts without getting hacked. But hackers, always hack hundreds of this accounts daily. How do they do it?

You must have also tried searching on the net on how you can hack Facebook yourself and i am sure that you were not satisfied fully. If you think that you can just Google some software, or just find a hacking website and expect that it would easily get you your friends password, remember, it is only your own Facebook account that hackers are hacking. There is no such simple software or random site that can hack a Facebook account. If you hear someone say, "I can hack your Facebook account through command prompt," you can do nothing but just laugh because it is not possible. So if you are one of the people looking for such stuff, stop it right away.
Hackers, they have got tricks. If you are not careful enough, then you are automatically their next target. So what are this tricks? Lets see them one by one.
Phishing
This is simply duplicating original pages to fool a user. A hacker would just create a log in page or the homepage similar or the same to the way the Facebook page looks. This page is attached with a script that stores your log in details after you enter them there. The hacker would then upload this files to a web server. So, when a person opens this page thinking its the official Facebook site, he logs in, his username and password are stored with the hacker and then the person is redirected automatically to the original Facebook site.
Facebook has found a way to prevent this by detecting if you have entered your log in details in any of this phishing sites. If so, it will immediately ask you to change it. But to be on the safe side, always check the URL on your address bar before putting in your log in details.
Key logging
The software they use is a key-logger. What this does is that it allows the hacker to develop a computer virus such that it records all the keystrokes once it gets into the victims computer. This keystrokes are then sent to the hacker periodically without you the victim knowing. The hacker then goes through this key logs to find out your username and password. Great idea yeah!
If you don't want to be a victim of this, then just install a good antivirus and update and scan your computer regularly. One good and free antivirus is Microsoft security essentials that can be downloaded from Microsoft's official website
Social Engineering
Here, a hacker pretends to be an official Facebook authorized personnel. His email addresses and all also look like they are official. But they are not. The hacker could send you mails pretending he is a Facebook person and misguide you to leak out your personal log in information. This people could act really nice that you will get fully convinced that he is a authorized person.
Be aware of the strangers you talk to online. Make sure you know the person personally. If you doubt a person you can always ask Facebook from the support center about this.

These are the most effective ways that have been highly successful by the hackers. You can use the comment box if you have any doubts or if you want to add something to my post that i haven't included. Your comments are highly appreciated Please subscribe by email to get alerts on amazing posts
